TNASICON 2026 – Guidelines for Paper/Poster/Video
ABSTRACT GUIDELINES
- Conference Registration is compulsory for abstract submission
- Abstracts will be submitted online only through official website
- Abstracts can be submitted for paper, poster, or video presentation
- The abstracts must contain original content which is not published or presented at any other national or international conferences
- The abstract should not be more than 300 words. It should be typed in the box provided on the online abstract submission page
- One abstract will be considered for one award category only
- Each delegate can submit up to 3 abstracts under various award categories.
- Once the abstract is submitted, no revisions/editing will be allowed. Authors have the option to save the abstracts as a draft in case they feel that the abstract needs to be reworked on.
- Inappropriately structured or incomplete abstracts will not be accepted.
- Notification regarding acceptance of the submission along with the guidelines for presentation will be sent to the author through email provided while submitting the abstract.
- The scientific committee reserves the right to accept / reject / assign a different presentation type to all the abstracts submitted
- Abstracts word limit: 300. Should include Introduction/Background, Materials Methods, Results and Conclusion

INSTRUCTIONS FOR VIDEO PRESENTATION
- Video abstract should be on innovative techniques used to treat common or complex problems, interesting cases or demonstrations, or new therapies or applications for a specific disease site.
- Multiple videos from the same unit will not be considered. In this case, the video will be considered on first come first served basis.
- Promotional videos (personal or commercial) will not be considered.
- Video format should be in mp4
- Duration of video should not exceed 5 min
- Size of the video should not exceed 1 GB
- Acceptable frame size: no smaller than full screen (640×480 or 720×820 pixels)
CALL FOR SUNDARAM AWARD 2026
- TNASI Full Members who are below forty years of age as on 1st January 2026 may send a short paper to be considered for the SUNDARAM AWARD 2026.
- Applicants must specify in the covering letter that they are applying for ‘Sundaram Award -2026’ and send a Document for age proof, to the Hon. Secretary, TNASI ONLY in PORTAL on or before, the 15th of June 2026.
- The Member must present the paper himself at the Annual Conference. The winner will be chosen by a Panel of Judges and their decision will be final.
- SUNDARAM AWARDEES of the past are not eligible to apply again.
CALL FOR GEM FOUNDATION AWARD for MINIMAL ACCESS SUGERY 2026
- TNASI Life Members who are below forty years of age, as on 1st January 2026 may send a short paper to be considered for GEM Foundation Award for Minimal Access Surgery.
- Applicants must specify in the covering letter that they are applying for ‘GEM FOUNDATION AWARD 2026’ and send a Document for age proof to the Hon. Secretary, TNASI ONLY IN PORTAL, on or before the 15th of June 2026.
- The Member must present the paper himself at the Annual Conference. The winner will be chosen by a Panel of Judges and their decision will be final.
- GEM FOUNDATION AWARDEES of the past are not eligible to apply again
CALL FOR DR. V. JEGANNATHAN BEST PAPER AWARD NOMINATIONS
- TNASI Life Members ABOVE forty years of age as on 1st January 2026 may send a short paper to be considered for Dr. V. Jaganathan Best Paper Award 2026.
- Applicants must specify in the covering letter that they are applying for DR. V. JEGANNATHAN BEST PAPER AWARD 2026 and send a Document for age proof, to the Hon. Secretary, TNASI ONLY IN PORTAL on or before the 15th of June 2026.
- The Member must present the paper in person at the Annual Conference. Winner will be chosen by a Panel of Judges and their decision will be final.
- DR. V. JEGANNATHAN BEST PAPER AWARDEES of the past are not eligible to apply again.
DR. A. J. BENSAM BEST POSTER AWARD
- TNASI Life Members or Associate Members who have submitted an abstract for poster presentation, will automatically be eligible for Dr.A.J.Bensam Best Poster Award.
- The Panel of Judges will scrutinize the posters presented during the TNASICON 2026 and will choose the Best Poster for this award.
- Poster presentation abstract should be submitted when called for by TNASICON 2026 Conference Secretariat, along with proof of TNASI Life or Associate Membership and TNASICON 2026 registration details to the Hon. Secretary, TNASI ONLY IN PORTAL before 15th June 2026
